PIMCO Employee, Accenture Client-Pasi Hamalainen Obituary

Pasi Hamalainen

Obituary

Pasi Hamalainen
Pasi M. Hamalainen, a gifted financial executive, devoted father and cultivator of many long-term friendships, died in his sleep on Jan. 16 at his home in Manhattan Beach, Calif. He was 46. Though he came from modest beginnings in Finland, Hamalainen earned an Ivy League education and parlayed it into a stellar career with Pacific Investment Management Co. (PIMCO), one of the world's largest asset-management firms. He rose through the ranks to become a managing director and director of global risk oversight, helping the company amass $2 trillion in assets. All the while Hamalainen lived by two iron credos: once you were his friend you were "a friend for life"; and he insisted on "nothing but the best." He possessed an engineer's fascination with precision instruments, from watches to sound systems to airplanes to very fast cars. An audiophile with a keen ear, Hamalainen built an oceanfront house in Manhattan Beach and equipped it with a vacuum-tube stereo system that turned his home into an approximation of a concert hall. His constantly evolving car collection included BMW's, Aston Martins, Bentleys and a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse. He loved to drive the snaking roads of the Los Angeles canyons, and with his Bugatti he set a staggering record of 230.6 miles per hour at the Sun Valley Road Rally last year. Though he enjoyed his toys, success for Hamalainen was not measured in money or possessions. He was generous with friends and family, and toward causes he regarded as worthy. He was also known for his unique sense of humor. He departed PIMCO in 2008 after 14 years with the company, and the next year his wife, Dr. Carey Cullinane, gave birth to their son, Logan Patrick. Retirement gave Hamalainen the freedom to travel the world. It also introduced him to the joys of fatherhood. "This last year Pasi was so happy," said his brother, Janne Hamalainen. "He was able to spend more time with his son, which was the most important thing by far to him. One of their favorite things to do together was play with toy planes - my brother was typically the air-traffic controller and Logan was the pilot - and they had a great bond." In 2012 Hamalainen joined the Capital Group, a Los Angeles-based investment management firm, as a fixed-income portfolio manager. He was also busy with a variety of philanthropic endeavors. He endowed a professorship at his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, and he joined the Advisory Board of the Jacobs Levy Center for Quantitative Financial Research at the university's Wharton School. He and his former wife, Dr. Cullinane, an oncologist, also endowed the Hamalainen Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Stanford University Medical Center. Pasi Matti Hamalainen was born in Helsinki on May 18, 1967, where his father was a sportswriter and his mother was an elementary school teacher. His mother, Raili, had competed twice with the Finnish national gymnastics team in the Olympics. The marriage ended in divorce in 1969 and Raili raised her two sons in the town of Tampere, where they briefly attended the Tampere University of Technology. Janne went on to study electrical engineering at the University of Tulsa, and Pasi, after a two-year stint as a pilot in the Finnish Air Force, won a scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania. There he competed on the track team and completed a rigorous five-year program in just four years, earning dual bachelor's degrees in engineering and economics. He went directly into the Ph.D. program at the university's Wharton School, but left to join PIMCO in 1994 after earning a master's degree in finance. As a student at Penn, Hamalainen served as a research assistant for the professors Donald Keim and Ananth Madhavan, both of whom became life-long friends. Together they produced papers on such lofty topics as "The Upstairs Market for Large-Block Transactions: Analysis and Measurement of Price Effects." "Pasi was the guy who had the technical skills and the smarts to crack the data - load it, parse it, interpret it," says Madhavan, a native of India. "The guy was brilliant. But the thing that was important to him in his life were his friends. He was very close to the group at Wharton, and they remained friends. That's very Finnish." "He was very, very bright," adds Keim. "Very serious, very quiet, but always thinking things through. Everything he said was very measured, very precise. And once he became your friend, he was always a true friend." In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Pasi Hamalainen may be sent via the Pasi Hamalainen Memorial Fund. - http://pasihamalainenmemorialfund.mydagsite.com

451 Hickey Blvd - On the Trail and Tail of Benny Chetcuti Jr.

By PETE BENNETT  Contra Costa Watch

Dateline: Summer 2009 - The Daly City Huskers

Daly City CA:  In my other posts I've mentioned Benny Chetcuti Jr. who operated from 1204 Alpine Road Walnut Creek CA.  Mr. Chetcuti also lived a few doors from my ex-wife over in Walnut Creek CA.

The building owners of 451 Hickey Blvd  leads to Mormons I know in Danville CA, they in turn know Nate Greenan who was murdered on WB-24 in 2012.  It appears Chetcuti fraudulent transactions lead everywhere.

In my personal and crazy story I've been cops getting arrested, arson cases, fires, probable extortion cases and I've read about PG&E spotter planes missing my sons High School Paradise High School by 3.5 miles.

A constant theme is these things are coincidences but last week they indicted Senator Leland Yee and over at Tiki Toms Matt Moody was a Tiki regular and coincidentally he was killed on that plane.  Just like the coincidence that my car was totaled a weeks after I bumped into David Christiansen who was dating my ex in the 70s.

I need Mormon Colonic really bad because Dave bought Kristie Ferraro's house in 2008 she died in her sleep just like the Grandson of the Mayor of Concord who is friends with Albert Seeno who is facing federal indictment along with Butler, Wielsch, Tanabe and Lombardi it's one big sorted story.

It was Chetcuti who I was chasing down the street in September, it was Butler who is in my house and my ex who knows all these people and my truck exploding on the Freeway.  My ex knew or should have known about these events as well.

Now I've tried reaching my sons ever since my car was totaled in 2011 and the Paradise Unified School District has blocked access to my sons, tried to arrest me for exercising my rights and access to my sons.

Today PG&E was indicted for the San Bruno Fire and the testing projects that were derived from that fire was connected to that project and the endless connections to Mormons, bankers, arsonists and murders goes on and on.

This is a first in a series of new articles as with the PG&E indictment on the table my story is heading the stratosphere.  The Indictment should be amended to include Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Obstruction of Justice.

The Former Leaders of LIBORia - Dead Bankers Not Walking

By PETE BENNETT - Contra Costa Watch EMAIL

Walnut Creek CA: A portion of my software career was in banking, finances and loans.  I'd love to return to that field but my battle with public corruption comes with financial devastation along with friends, business associates, co-workers and family ending up murdered.

As bold as it sounds the numbers are staggering but lead to my former employers and customers.  This page is again another placeholder slated for deeper coverage.

On Feb 19th 2014 an article on Bankers dying was published.  We're talking about high stress jobs but over 20 jumpers is over the top.  In Walnut Creek CA we've had five fatal jumpers and one serious injury plus a spate of murder suicides that puts Smallville on the map.

The City of Walnut Creek was trying build a Rodeo Drive North and may end up on 48 Hours as Mayhem Corners under burning fires of Mt. Diablo as there is an arsonist around town and the Contra Costa Times could care less that buildings everywhere are being torched.

In my story it's become nothing but tombstones.

Some of the dead bankers live right here in Contra Costa County - the only reason the Coroner missed these cases is they lack a good database program to keep track of cases.  The job history is as important as the liver temperature, ligature marks as is the cause of death e.g. bacterial, perfectly timed heart attacks and suicides.

Read this part and then later I'll come back with edits and new pages to support my argument that Diablo Shadows is as real as it gets.

Does The Trail Of Dead Bankers Lead Somewhere?

Economic Collapse

What are we to make of this sudden rash of banker suicides?  Does this trail of dead bankers lead somewhere?  Or could it be just a coincidence that so many bankers have died in such close proximity?  I will be perfectly honest and admit that I do not know what is going on.  But there are some common themes that seem to link at least some of these deaths together.  First of all, most of these men were in good health and in their prime working years.

Image: Bankers (Wikimedia Commons).
Secondly, most of these “suicides” seem to have come out of nowhere and were a total surprise to their families.  Thirdly, three of the dead bankers worked for JP Morgan.  Fourthly, several of these individuals were either involved in foreign exchange trading or the trading of derivatives in some way.  So when “a foreign exchange trader” jumped to his death from the top of JP Morgan’s Hong Kong headquarters this morning, that definitely raised my eyebrows.  These dead bankers are starting to pile up, and something definitely stinks about this whole thing.
What would cause a young man that is making really good money to jump off of a 30 story building?  The following is how the South China Morning Post described the dramatic suicide of 33-year-old Li Jie…
An investment banker at JP Morgan jumped to his death from the roof of the bank’s headquarters in Central yesterday.
Witnesses said the man went to the roof of the 30-storey Chater House in the heart of Hong Kong’s central business district and, despite attempts to talk him down, jumped to his death.
If this was just an isolated incident, nobody would really take notice.
But this is now the 7th suspicious banker death that we have witnessed in just the past few weeks
- On January 26, former Deutsche Bank executive Broeksmit was found dead at his South Kensington home after police responded to reports of a man found hanging at a house. According to reports, Broeksmit had “close ties to co-chief executive Anshu Jain.”
- Gabriel Magee, a 39-year-old senior manager at JP Morgan’s European headquarters, jumped 500ft from the top of the bank’s headquarters in central London on January 27, landing on an adjacent 9 story roof.
- Mike Dueker, the chief economist at Russell Investments, fell down a 50 foot embankment in what police are describing as a suicide. He was reported missing on January 29 by friends, who said he had been “having problems at work.”
- Richard Talley, 57, founder of American Title Services in Centennial, Colorado, was also found dead earlier this month after apparently shooting himself with a nail gun.
- 37-year-old JP Morgan executive director Ryan Henry Crane died last week.
- Tim Dickenson, a U.K.-based communications director at Swiss Re AG, also died last month, although the circumstances surrounding his death are still unknown.
So did all of those men actually kill themselves?
Well, there is reason to believe that at least some of those deaths may not have been suicides after all.
For example, before throwing himself off of JP Morgan’s headquarters in London, Gabriel Magee had actually made plans for later that evening
There was no indication Magee was going to kill himself at all. In fact, Magee’s girlfriend had received an email from him the night before saying he was finishing up work and would be home soon.
And 57-year-old Richard Talley was found “with eight nail gun wounds to his torso and head” in his own garage.
How in the world was he able to accomplish that?
Like I said, something really stinks about all of this.
Meanwhile, things continue to deteriorate financially around the globe.  Just consider some of the things that have happened in the last 48 hours…
-According to the Bangkok Post, people are “stampeding to yank their deposits out of banks” in Thailand right now.
-Venezuela is coming apart at the seams.  Just check out the photos in this article.
-The unemployment rate in South Africa is above 24 percent.
-Ukraine is on the verge of total collapse
Three weeks of uneasy truce between the Ukrainian government and Western-oriented protesters ended Tuesday with an outburst of violence in which at least three people were killed, prompting a warning from authorities of a crackdown to restore order. Protesters outside the Ukrainian parliament hurled broken bricks and Molotov cocktails at police, who responded with stun grenades and rubber bullets.
-This week we learned that the level of bad loans in Spain has risen to a new all-time high of 13.6 percent.
-China is starting to quietly sell off U.S. debt.  Already, Chinese U.S. Treasury holdings are down to their lowest level in almost a year.
-During the 4th quarter of 2013, U.S. consumer debt rose at the fastest pace since 2007.
-U.S. homebuilder confidence just experienced the largest one month decline ever recorded.
-George Soros has doubled his bet that the S&P 500 is going to crash.  His total bet is now up to about $1,300,000,000.
For many more signs of financial trouble all over the planet, please see my previous article entitled “20 Signs That The Global Economic Crisis Is Starting To Catch Fire“.
Could some of these deaths have something to do with this emerging financial crisis?
That is a very good question.
Once again, I will be the first one to admit that I simply do not know why so many bankers are dying.
But one thing is for certain – dead bankers don’t talk.
Everyone knows that there is a massive amount of corruption in our banking system.  If the truth about all of this corruption was to ever actually come out and justice was actually served, we would see a huge wave of very important people go to prison.
In addition, it is an open secret that Wall Street has been transformed into the largest casino in the history of the world over the past several decades.  Our big banks have become more reckless than ever, and trillions of dollars are riding on the decisions that are being made every day.  In such an environment, it is expected that you will be loyal to the firm that you work for and that you will keep your mouth shut about the secrets that you know.
In the final analysis, there is really not that much difference between how mobsters operate and how Wall Street operates.
If you cross the line, you may end up paying a very great price.
Editor’s note: Watch Doug Hagmann, the founder and director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, expose what lies beneath the bodies of dead bankers and what lies ahead for us.

CNN.COM: Prominent lawyers keep turning up dead. #deadbankers

Walnut Creek CA -- My experience with the Contra Costa Legal Community hasn't been good.  I know they've had a lock on how the cases are settled.  In my personal experience the litigation history is enough to send them running and the State Bar should be looking at my story.

I've had million dollar settlements queered by the legal community. My person experience with former Judge Joel Golub and his brother is a clear example legal misconduct.  I'd say it's enough for to be disbarred - I got Don Moats case in front of the State Bar and he withdrew his license voluntarily before disbarment.

My first letter will be about the failure of Walnut Creek legal department to inform me of events that were a danger to my safety.

Walnut Creek Police Department Cold Cases

Walnut Creek Police Department
            Investigations Bureau
            Cold Cases

The Walnut Creek Police Departments Investigations Bureau is responsible for the investigations of serious cases that occur in our city. Most of the serious cases are investigated and solved in a reasonable amount of time. Some serious cases lack significant information to be solved in a reasonable amount of time and eventually the case becomes cold. Most of these cases are classed “cold cases” which means they are currently open, serious crimes, have little evidence or leads to identify a suspect and have not been solved. Historically, cold cases are solved through the use of technological advances (for example DNA), the case is publicized which, causes more interest in the case, a person comes forward with new information, or a suspect eventually confesses.
The Walnut Creek Police Department has approximately a dozen cases that are classed as “cold cases.” In an effort to solve these cases the department will be posting summaries of the cases on their website and in press releases in an effort to develop leads and to possibly bring closure to the families of these victims.
If you have any additional information please contact the Walnut Creek Police Investigations Bureau at (925) 943-5844.

Death of Public Officials - These are not accidents

By PETE BENNETT - Contra Costa Watch EMAIL

Original Post: 10/30/2013

The Witness Murders

They are all dead except the bottom three on the left.  I knew almost every victim and this was in 2013 but my first Dead Witness story started in 1982 with of my employee.

During November 2013 I intend to post a concise list of persons near elected officials or public office killed, endured untimely fates or have been murdered

This list is good and I have no reason to retract anything as my arguments of a problem with the recent crash of the PG&E Surveillance Plane was enough for me, 1) I knew the Matt Moody via a local club, 2) It's connected to the Gas Transmission Group, 3) it missed my sons and ex-wife by three miles and the person in Row 2 First Image from left is most likely my sons half brother but was my attorneys Dax Craven's half brother son of a attorney that works for PG&E, Contra Costa County, Seeno, Safeway and Several other firms all of which have been litigation quagmires for me.

Victims:

  • Five are Public Officials, Servants or Elected
  • Three are police officers (arrested and Convicted) - I know all of them some since 1988
  • One was a cop murdered who was photographed by my stalkers
  • Three are relatives of Public Officials
  • Three of the Public Officials have died of Spinal Meningitis- there are more cases
  • One is my attorneys brother in-law his father represents Seeno who is going to be finally indicted.
  • One was my neighbor
  • My long time karaoke DJ friend, his mother formerly with Solano County DA

  • Another was a Starbucks Barista,
  • One was a bartender whose high school friend was Butlers Decoy in the 48 hours special.  She's still around gained some weight and went Blonde - she no longer shows her cleavage.
  • The other was murdered and key suspect is a cop, has always been a cop.

There are many more names but you can take this FBI where they'll they know already..

Every victim except one was killed in the last two years.

PGE ► San Bruno Fire - An Alternate Theory Leading To Another Fire

PG&E: San Bruno Fire - An Alternate Theory Leading To Another Fire

Date: January 22nd 2013 Author: Pete Bennett
Reference Link: Suspected and Known Arson Fires

Pleasant Hill CA:  Shortly after the San Bruno Fire in 2011 a PGE high performance engineer was sitting a desk across from me at my web start-up located at 1923a Oak Park Blvd, Pleasant Hill CA requesting a nearly useless database project.  This person was nice enough but under extreme duress, lacked focus but also highly agitated when former Lt. David Oberhoffer appeared shortly after he arrived but he never seemed interested in his project.

A deposit was presented to build a skeleton database for his ongoing litigation which sounded like extortion by a former employee who teamed up with an attorney.  What wasn't known then was he worked for PGE but the nearly impossible coincidence was the San Bruno Fire was

Sept 2010 a few days after the San Bruno Fire  A PGE High Performance Engineer order a database solution for his litigation support needs.  My best guess was this was perhaps a few bankers boxes but in retrospect he didn't need the database and was there about former San Francisco Police Officer David Oberhoffer who retired in June 2010.  My problem with Oberhoffer is his connection to the Piedmont Lumber Fire and his connection to persons that I know have tried to run me off the road.

he paid a deposit but never returned calls but that afternoon Oberhoffer arrived and this guy appeared to be scared to death of him.

By February 2011 a company called Ravenelle Enterprises calls from Fresno saying they "found" my resume on Craigslist. They said they wanted to hire me but given I was homeless, broke, and barely surviving I said yes, sure, no problem, when do you want to start but knowing that I was sleeping in the rain it was going to be tough road.

My problem was getting clothes and getting around.  Then my phone goes off but Ravenelle apparently undeflected by my problems makes contact again after the phone was off for three weeks.  We meet in Walnut Creek and this VP presents my resume that was posted back fall 2010.

I get hired, Ravenelle sells me a car, gets me traveling to Newman, Modesto, Concord, and PGE Offices on Wiget Lane

I've spent several years piecing together job histories, other cases, arson fires, insurance fraud and other stoked up deflection stories.

  • Persons deployed in a military sensitive positions
  • Access to logistics, banking, finance, drones and Cointelpro investigations
  • Access to Law Enforcement Databases and Intel
While neighborhoods erupt in flames with huge pipeline explosions, staged and faked arrests underneath there are many good officers but in my case someone had plans for me.

Looking motives on the San Bruno Fire using a disruption model one could surmise that disrupting gas lines could create a ripple effect throughout the system or region.  Gas transmission and power arrive at numerous entry points.  My past project once included mapping SBC Global's DSL system to orders.  Not complicated but an eye opener but SBC inadvertently bankrupted the agency responsible for paying me back in 2001.  So much for feeding your kids but Hicks Consulting sued and won so SBC retaliated by cutting off Hicks Consulting.

Please see Case CIVMSC02-00313 - HICKS VS SBC SERVICES or CC-courts.org

Giving Credit where it's due
  • PG&E is moving in the right direction in regards to safety and placing citizens over the cantankerous PUC debates but working in unison instead of cross principles would help facilitate progress.
  • The neighborhood you're protecting could be yours, mine or your family.
  • The businesses that rely on consistent and reliable power that drive one of the largest economies in the world rely on an aging system with systemic problems from legacy that has left the room long ago.
It would be nice for SBC to pony up as the Agency filed Bankruptcy and vanished.  The project broke down after working for months without payment.

Mid September 2010 PG&E High Performance Engineer

Around early September 2010 right around the San Bruno Fire a person (Coded: H.S.) contacted me for software services.  He arrived either the first or second Saturday after the biggest pipeline fire in the country.  He placed an order for services, left a deposit and was instructed return with documents.  The problem was he never returned but the bigger problem was when Oberhoffer arrived on top of this appointment but today I'm highly suspect of Oberhoffer's timing and his connection to other suspect events, his job history, and suspiciously early pictures he took of the Piedmont Lumber Fire that was a Johnny on the Spot scoop or perhaps he knows more.

Months later I'm homeless, either fighting for survival or meeting some of the nicest down and outs around.  Stuck in San Francisco Tenderloin for four months but using by Singing To Survive I returned to Walnut Creek by Christmas where I connected with Hillside Covenant Church.

  1. Anyone connected to PGE is not my normal client
  2. The High Performance Engineer would be an innocuous event except that this was days after the San Bruno Fire
  3. The other person in the room possessed images of the Piedmont Lumber Fire that in my opinion plus that of others was far too early in the fire.
  4. The day of the Piedmont fire I was attending State Senators Mark Desauliniers event at the Lafayette library more or less ranting about what would surface as CNET.
  5. That afternoon my engine threw a rod - oops the oil sensing light failed - thank god for Mormons who sell crappy cars.
The vendor for PGE owes me about $10,000 but PGE's attorneys have ignored me saying that their vendors are responsible for paying their bills.  They took my time sheets and got paid but decided that paying me was not in their best interest.  Weeks later my car was totaled in Lafayette - search on accident in this blog.

Senator DeSaulnier showed concern initially but my concerns are the San Bruno Fire is a critical infrastructure component required for the worlds 11th largest economy to function.  I didn't ask for this connection but my suspect is relentless but I've filed police reports in Walnut Creek, Lafayette and Pleasant Hill but since filing them I've had about three solid attempts on life - e.g. car accidents, someone from Hillside Covenant Church tried to run me over in Lafayette - Lt. Gorski told me to pound sand while he was busy driving Vice Ultra Lounge out of business, the Chief of Police of Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Danville and Clayton have all announced their retirements since CNET became a household name.

Wait until you read about the connection to my arson map and Peter Branagh where I was at event where CCSO detectives appeared.  A movie making event where they made me the star?  Not really but days later a young kid at the Walnut Creek McDonald's yelled Daddy it's Pete, get your gun!

I get it - I get that the story is far from over.
