Laser Induced Blindness - perhaps not so far fetched

By PETE BENNETT - Contra Costa Watch EMAIL

Walnut Creek CA: While this father, a Contra Costa County Resident seeks one primary goal which is to be reunited with his sons but at present they are missing.  The events near my story are endless, the personal events clearly point to Police Officers with a goal.  Not all are bad but a core select few are a clear and present danger.  The logo is needed so that blogger can grab this picture for the front side tiles.

Asiana 214 Investigation:

At this time the NTSB appears to have ruled out the pilot was blinded by a flash of light.  I'm not as convinced as "Blinded by the cop" was posted long before the Asiana 214 crash.

This citizen and soon to be candidate uses this blog to deflect off adversaries who seem to continually violate my civil rights but they already know the Contra Costa Bar Association won't help at all.  These adversaries have unbridled access to technology, resources and capital coupled with friends in squad cars that anything is possible.

What happened on July 20th 2011 was as deliberate as it gets but the attempts to deflect the investigation so glaring I wrote letters that documented this incident thereby laying a trail  breadcrumbs for investigators to follow.  Since this accident there have many others where this blogger suspects a pattern exists of well concealed incidents.  Keep in mind the Bay Area is chock full of the brightest researchers, engineer, biologists, programmers, scientists of all flavors in the world and with brightness something wicked is often found.

The statements about being temporarily blinded resonated strongly as my thoughts about the flash that blinded me was it was different.  I had 5 to 10 seconds of blindness, was hit from the rear, the car interior flooded and it was more like a warm but super bright pulse but since that night a vision issue has emerged.

The source on this is rather is truly coincidental as it's from scientist working at the People's Republican Army.  I've just begun the process of beefing up my laser knowledge but we've all experienced or know of those hand-held laser pointers - the same ones the FAA is so concerned about.  My position is then and is today it was white vs. infrared.  My client who was died in San Francisco imported the same lasers as Key Chains.  He's the one that died at 36 of sudden unexplained death? It happens everyday even to a former Danville Mom just around the corner from Valle Vista just down the street from Suicide, near the dual fires that were probably arson that created two perfect adjacent parcels side by side.  What a coincidence?

Determination of laser energy density threshold leading to glare-induced blindness by pattern visual evoked potential in guinea pigs

Abstract

Objective To explore the application of pattern visual evoked potential (PVEP) in examination of energy density threshold of laser beam that may lead to glare-induced blindness in guinea pigs. Methods Stainless steel bolts (5mm in length, 1.2mm in diameter), as reference electrode and recording electrode for the PVEP measurement, were implanted into skulls of 27 guinea pigs, located in 6mm proximal to bregma and 10mm distal to bregma. These guinea pigs were randomly divided into three groups with 9 (18 eyes) for each group, and they were exposed to laser beam at wave length of 635nm, 660nm and 690nm, respectively. The PVEP was recorded in each group before and immediately after laser irradiation, and also on day 2 and day 4 after laser irradiation in guinea pigs blinded immediately after laser exposure. The latency and amplitude of P wave in PVEP before irradiation was considered as control value for each group. When PVEP could not be recorded instantly after laser irradiation, the intensity of electric current applied at that time was considered as threshold value of each laser beam. The power of electricity(P) values was then calculated, and energy density threshold that led to glare-induced blindness was figured out according to currentpower curve (P-I curve). On day 2 and day 4 after irradiation, PVEP was additionally recorded, and latency and amplitude of P wave were compared with that of control values to examine the recovery of visual function of the blind guinea pigs. Results The energy density thresholds of the three laser beams at wave length of 635nm, 660nm, 690nm respectively were 356.36×10-9J/cm2, 349.58×10-9J/cm2 and 343.93×10-9J/cm2. In guinea pigs became blind after exposure to laser beams at wave length of 635nm, 660nm, 690nm, the latencies of P wave recorded 2 days after blindness were not significantly different with control value of each group(t=-0.356, P=0.729; t=0.492, P=0.633; t=-0.445, P=0.666), while the difference in amplitudes was statistically significant (t=11.01, P=0.000; t=5.223, P=0.000; t=5.702, P=0.000). Four days after blindness, the latencies and amplitudes of P wave recorded on the guinea pigs were also compared with the control values, but no statistically significant difference was found (latency: t=1.329, P=0.213; t=2.040, P=0.069; t=-0.894, P=0.392; amplitude: t=-3.030, P=0.768; t=0.194, P=0.850; t=-0.948, P=0.365). Conclusions The energy density threshold of laser beams, at length wave of 635nm, 660nm, 690nm, may lead to glare-induced blindness in guinea pigs is around 350×10-9J/cm2. PVEP examination is a useful and harmless way to determine the energy density threshold of laser beam which will cause blindness.

Coroners Inquiry: Anthony Banta Jr. - Analysis of the testimony.

In 2005 while living in Danville I endured about six hours of what I suspected that my medication had been laced with something. Years later when they arrested Chris Butler I started digging up details on top of the many I already had. There is one very important email that Lisa Voderbruggen has that I want sent to the FBI.

who was in my house in 2004 but in 2012 I met a CNET arrestee named Hulu who reported that Wielsch and Lombardi gave him a tainted drink during an arrest in Walnut Creek which was vetted during the Walnut Creek City Manager Meeting.

An acquaintance from then Community Presbyterian Church was Peter Mantas who like me was using their job connection program. We all know what happened to his wife but Peter and I were respectively being ground up by the Family Law Court where Butler and his corrupt attorneys.

http://contracostawatch.blogspot.com/2012/12/bacterial-or-murder-by-bacteria.html

The problem here with what happened is whether or not Banta was acting of his own free will or whether he was under the influence of something undetectable.

http://contracostawatch.blogspot.com/2012/12/bacterial-or-murder-by-bacteria.html

In 2005 I nearly died from a bacterial infection that from day one I said was deliberate and that others in the area bear similar characteristics which is why I wrote the Murder by Bacteria article.

The other glaring issue is I knew Anthony Banta jr. from where he worked at Starbucks at Duncan and Main Street but I also know the roommates and they were all normal people. The Banta story for doesn't end here either as for years I've been saying that someone who is an expert in bio-weapons, bacterias or bio-toxins and/or expertise in Pharmacology with possible access to cadavers that might posses viable bacteria was in play.

That is in a Police Report filed with the Danville Police in June 2009 which I filed after my chance meeting with Supervisor Glover. Our stories are nearly identical in terms of how sick each of got - I had near kidney failure and the county ER department wouldn't believe my allegations.

Well folks councilman Shimansky died within weeks of my near clairvoyant but well timed report but so Officer Murphy understands the situation - that report was vetted with an FBI agent prior to me calling down there and Officer Murphy just in case you haven't head the Danville Building Inspector in that Police Report from 2004 - he fell down an elevator shaft in Palo Alto then died weeks later. The bigger problem is the meeting in Ken Nordoff and Chief Bryden where the 2004 police report was handed over on Nov. 1st 2011.

Here is a list of people I know deceased in 2011

Gary Collins

Ian Lota Scott - Contra Costa Times CSR -

>> his mom was retired DA investigator helping me in 2010

Roma Bhatia - found deceased on 680 - her husband was/is represented by Merrick Wiesinger whose name was shared during that meeting.

Loretta Hale - Mt. Diablo suicide with no witnesses

On July 20th 2011 a retired SF cop blinded me with something akin to laser or super bright spot light that temporarily blinded me. My fate was a head on collision in Lafayette near the BART Station

Peter Haas - my former client dies from unexplained death at 36

A Former Danville mom died in Cotati from unexplained death at 56 - I ran into the daughter in Chico -

Nate Greenan who was this great drummer that backed me up at Vinnies in Concord - one of the best ever behind me. He crashed in Orinda on April 18th 2012 and David Schafer on August 3rd 2012 WB 24 nearly on top of Nate's crash.

Nate is the son of James Greenan who's son in-law represented me in divorce court - he never once said that hey Pete - did you know your ex-wife babysat Nate Greenan or that my father in-law represented Contra Costa County, or Seeno and that perhaps we've got a conflict of interest?

I once worked for another Mormon at this same Ward where my coworker nearly died of Spinal Meningitis which occurred before I filed my 2009 police report.

Now we have Gary Bell and Bill Pollecek dying from bacteria infections then we have Doc's Pharmacy with over 20 severe bacteria cases with four fatal.

By the way I tried to sue Contra Costa County and shared many details with my attorney about my plans. The Contra Costa County Bar won't help and it's clear that there is a HUGE problem as my attorney was beat up, my other attorney offices were burned down which links to Butler, Wielsch, Tanabe and others where a local developer lost 2.5 million in cold hard cash as did a slew of retirees - around 50 victims or better losing over 25 million - the big story never told.

Brrzzzt! U.S. Army checks out laser-based lightning tech

Protect My Sons

In 2011 my car was totaled in a similar fashion.  The Lafayette Police have refused to investigate the accident just like they refused to investigate the near fatal 2004 assault and truck fire.

Note: New Tagging System in the works.

Brrzzzt! U.S. Army checks out laser-based lightning tech

Earlier this spring, the U.S. Army revealed the existence of a project underway to build a device that could shoot lightning bolts down laser beams to take out a target. Now the military's boffins report success in their first tests.

The technology -- known as laser-induced plasma channel -- is designed to seek out targets that conduct electricity better than the air or ground that surrounds them.

Although scientists and engineers working on the weapon's development expressed confidence in the physics behind their work, George Fischer, who is the lead scientist on the project, nonetheless cautioned about the technical challenges still ahead.

"If the light focuses in air, there is certainly the danger that it will focus in a glass lens, or in other parts of the laser amplifier system, destroying it," according to Fischer. "We needed to lower the intensity in the optical amplifier and keep it low until we wanted the light to self-focus in air.
Laser weaponry is moving apace. In early May, for example, Northrop Grumman demonstrated a prototype system that burned through the skin of a drone playing the part of a cruise missile for the test. However, Fischer pointed to the challenges involved in synchronizing the laser with the high voltage, as well as how to build a device that's sufficiently rugged so as to stand up under extreme environmental conditions. The system would also need to be able to perform in the field over extended periods of time, he said, adding that a number of high-tech components would need to run continuously.

It remains unclear how soon the military can weaponize this sort of technology. A representative from the Picatinny Arsenal, headquarters for the project, was not available for comment.

However, there's clear interest in getting this done as the battlefield bottom line in having a weapon which can harness lightning bolts is huge in terms of the amount of energy generated.

"If a laser puts out a pulse with modest energy, but the time is incredibly tiny, the power can be huge," according to Fischer. "During the duration of the laser pulse, it can be putting out more power than a large city needs, but the pulse only lasts for two-trillionths of a second."

Asiana Pilot Blinded - It was deliberate - I survived this by sheer luck

======================================================================

The pilot flying the plane, a veteran captain still in training on the Boeing 777, reportedly told Korean investigators that a bright flash temporarily blinded him at an altitude of about 500 feet.Officials are investigating whether the pilot of the Asiana Airlines jet that crashed into the runway at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday had been blinded seconds before by a flash of light.

National Transportation Safety Board director Deborah A.P. Hersman said pilot Lee Kang-kook shared "some of that information" with the U.S. investigators interviewing the pilots. When asked it if was a laser, she said investigators weren't yet sure.
"We really don't know what it could have been," Hersman said. "We need to look into it. We need to understand what he's talking about."
At the same altitude, the pilots realized the jet was coming in too low, and tried to correct their path. The speed of the airplane also slowed significantly at that altitude, from about 134 knots (154 mph) at 500 feet, to 118 knots (136 mph) at 200 feet, to 112 knots (129 mph) at 125 feet.
During the briefing, Hersman outlined other aspects of the ongoing investigation, including a deeper analysis of the plane's automated flight systems to determine how they interacted, whether the pilots used them properly or if they malfunctioned during the landing.
Noting that the Boeing 777 has some of the most sophisticated automation in the sky, Hersman said the systems, such as the auto-throttles, have many settings and can be coupled with one another.
Investigators found that in the 2-1/2 minutes before the crash, multiple auto-throttle modes and multiple auto-pilot modes had been set.
"What was the final mode the airplane was in?" Hersman asked. "We still need to validate the data. We need to make sure how the devices were set and what the pilots understood the modes to be."
The evacuation of more than 300 people aboard the jetliner did not begin until 90 seconds after the aircraft came to rest and only when fire was spotted by a flight attendant, federal investigators said.
Getting everyone out of the wide-body 777 late Saturday morning also was complicated by two escape slides that inflated in the cabin, pinning down two crew members, as the plane careened down Runway 28L.
The accident killed two teenage girls from China who were coming to Los Angeles for a summer camp. Scores more were injured.
