Mary Jo White (born December 27, 1947) is an American attorney who served as the 31st Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission from 2013 to 2017. She was the first and only woman to be the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, serving from 1993 to 2002.[2] On January 24, 2013, President Barack Obama nominated White to replace Elisse B. Walter as Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.[3] She was confirmed by the Senate on April 8, 2013 and was sworn into office on April 10, 2013.[4][5] As of 2014, she was listed as the 73rd most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.[6]
On November 14, 2016, White announced she would step down from her SEC position at the end of the president's term.[7] She is now the Senior Chair at Debevoise & Plimpton.

Life and career[edit]

White was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and grew up in McLean, Virginia. She received a B.A. from the College of William & Mary in 1970. She earned an M.A. in psychology in 1971 from The New School for Social Research[8] and a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School in 1974,[2] where she was a Writing & Research Editor of the Columbia Law Review.
White became Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York in December 1992, and in March 1993 was appointed by President Bill Clinton as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District. She is noted for having led the prosecution of John Gotti and overseen those of the terrorists responsible for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, chief among them Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and Ramzi Yousef.[9]
After President Bill Clinton's controversial last-day presidential pardons, she was appointed by new Attorney General John Ashcroft to investigate Marc Rich's pardon.[2]
For 10 years, she was chair of the litigation department at Debevoise & Plimpton,[10] whose self-proclaimed "core practices" and expertise are focused on the success of Wall Street financial firms.[11] The Huffington Post called her "a well-respected attorney who won high-profile cases against mobsters, terrorists and financial fraudsters over the course of nearly a decade as the U.S. attorney for Manhattan."[12]
It has been asserted in Rolling Stone magazine that, among other duties at Debevoise, White has used her influence and connections to protect certain Wall Street CEOs from prosecution,[13] including a notable case involving the firing of Gary J. Aguirre for investigations into the CEO of Morgan Stanley executive John J. Mack.
In 2013, White, as a lawyer for JSTOR, an original complainant in the prosecution of Aaron Swartz, asked the lead prosecutor to drop the charges after JSTOR changed their position to oppose Swartz's prosecution because of steps Swartz had taken to appease JSTOR.[14]
When White started at the SEC in April 2013, most of the agency's enforcement cases from the 2008-2009 financial crisis were either settled or near completion, freeing up resources for other work.[15] In a shift for the agency, White announced in June 2013 the SEC would start demanding more admissions of misconduct as part of an enforcement settlement.[16] In an October 2013 speech, White announced a new SEC enforcement tactic practiced by neighborhood beat police to root out petty crime. In her speech, White cited a March 1982 Atlantic article, espousing law enforcement's "broken windows" concept that theorizes enforcing small, petty crimes—like smashed windows—can prevent bigger crimes. Focusing enforcement attention to these small crimes avoids breeding an environment of indifference to the rules, White said.[17]
During her tenure, White had to recuse herself from some of the SEC's biggest enforcement cases as a result of her prior work at Debevoise and that of her husband, John W. White, a lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. By February 2015 White had recused herself in about 50 cases setting up deadlock situations within the Commission and thus, per a report, compromised the effectiveness of the SEC.[18]
In 2016, Mr. Robot had the first filmed fiction appearance of White in the season 2 premiere.[19]
On November 14, 2016, White announced that she would step down from the SEC after nearly four years service at the end of President Obama's term in January 2017.[20] She earned, in the immediate wake of her announcement, a complimentary overall review of her term as an independent regulator from the Wall Street Journal despite differences the editors had had with her. The editorial contrasted White's service to that of others "in one of history's most ideological Administrations", as it termed the Obama presidency.[21]

Criticism of White's leadership at the SEC[edit]

On June 2, 2015, Senator Elizabeth Warren wrote a letter to White indicating that her "leadership of the Commission has been extremely disappointing"[22] pointing out numerous shortcomings and failures during her tenure. Warren admonished that White failed to finalize certain Dodd–Frank rules, did not curb the use of waivers for companies that violated securities laws, allowed settlements without admission of guilt, and was too frequently recused because of her husband's activities.[22] In return, White argued that the agency had been effective and that Warren had mischaracterized her statements and the accomplishments of the agency.[23] The Massachusetts senator's attack on White generated backlash from the White House, Congress, and Wall Street, with defenders calling her a tough but fair enforcer of the rules.[24]
On October 14, 2016, Senator Warren sent a formal written request to President Obama asking for the immediate dismissal of White as Chair of the SEC because of her refusal to develop public disclosure rules of political contributions made by corporations.[25]
In 2017, White was a member of a National Football League external expert advisory panel on domestic violence, reviewing allegations against Ezekiel Elliott. He was suspended for six games.[26]
In August 2018, White chaired the investigation related to Ohio State's Coach Urban Meyer's denials of knowing about domestic violence committed by one of his former assistant football coaches, Zach Smith.

Domestic Terrorism: Shooting out a PG&E Transformer

By PETE BENNETT - Contra Costa Watch

Aug 2013 - Walnut Creek CA - Last year someone shot out a PG&E high voltage transformer which I believe was a KVA High Voltage Line that travels through many towns and cities.  Details are sketchy but glancing past articles it seem in-congruent in a modern society that a KVA Transformer would be used for target practice.

For many years I've been following news articles about PG&E, AT&T and other utilities that support our infrastructure.  Although they deliver services for millions daily in many ways that's our Achilles heal as a well timed attack could be a market disruption tool - subtly planned, tactically executed but more important potentially overlooked by those responsible as day to day activities often overwhelm or overtake many tasks.  It happens everyday at your business, your school, homework or job where so much information flows at you can't respond.

That information flow is the domestic terrorists advantage as these mysterious persons often carrying multiple agendas can strike at the weaker links.  Now to some knocking out a transformer array might sound like a drunken Cowboy out on the range but from my perspective is these events are little tests that lead up to a larger coordinated attack on our infrastructure which is why you get cable, the weather and the news plus where some live their lives out watching sports from the stadium or the arm chair.

Having personally seen PG&E documents on the San Bruno fire as a software contractor I could see endless weaknesses in their planning as well as thinking.  Old timers now retired pointed out something about the San Bruno fire that I found interesting and as an arson victim myself I now seek patterns to tie together.

There is a pattern but it's not limited to PG&E but potentially is linked to larger looming event.  My focus is the Bay Area but it's easy to see other incidents nationally are potentially interconnected.

As I use my decryption skills to analyze publicly known infrastructure points I'll paint an argument that we live in a different world where our centuries of world domination might become the foundation of domestic terrorism.

In the end you might wonder who's guarding our infrastructure and perhaps reallocating TSA nail-clipper chasers to walk the wires, pipelines, and sewers seeking intimate details no matter how smelly the task the sewer crawl could be one could easily dump a tanker trunk uphill from downtown San Francisco with the intent of creating a sensational fire.  One of the suspects I've encountered was once a member of the San Francisco Police Department and I personally consider him an arsonist.

In my other articles I'll point out the glaring connections to my July 2011 car accident and preceding arrest (Arrest Explained) where I strongly suspect that Hillside Covenant Churches Youth Director breached my laptop with sensitive data and that his relationships with the Doyle Family leads to the Former Head of the Walnut Creek Bomb Squad whose roommate Lisa was my roommate (Greg Santilli) girlfriend who all have ties to the CNET.

The easy question is why are all these people near me in the first place?

PG&E Offers $10,000 Reward In Walnut Creek Kidnapping And Robbery Case

Reposted to Protect My Sons

Arson Murder - Magalia / Paradise CA
Related: Arson / Arson
======================================================================
The Walnut Creek Police Department is well aware of my stalking reports, hit and runs, threats by their officers and when a member of Hillside Covenant Church (Youth Director).

There is a police report on file that directly connects to the PG&E offices where I worked from several times that connects back to my former roommate and his girlfriend who works for Richard Grossman of Grossman Doyle and Golde Danville.

What occurred in my apartment leads to events connected to Contra Costa Narcotics Taskforce, persons who have screwed with me for over 10 years who run the Walnut Creek Bomb Squad as Grossman once ran this same bomb squad.

The incident on June 23rd 2011 required me calling 911 over events connected what Lisa did with my sons while I was at the PG&E meeting at this same location.  During another meeting Concord this PG&E Contractor plugged his external drive and placed PG&E sharepoint server containing the much of the PG&E hydrotesting project.

The vendor has been endlessly unresponsive, PG&E San Bruno Fire Legal Counsel just as much and I'm the guy who's truck is blown up in 2004, his attorneys offices torched at 1776 Ygnacio Valley Road Walnut Creek in 2001, and I'm the guy whose car was totaled, his truck torched where he could have easily burned to death with a PG&E High Performance Engineer standing in my former offices just week after the San Bruno Fire standing next Lt. David Oberhoffer San Francisco Police (RET) who lives around the corner from the head of the Walnut Creek Bomb and within a few miles of numerous arson fires.

I think the guy in the picture is one of the cops stalking me at Starbucks and Walnut Creek McDonalds where I told them they've inserted themselves in federal investigation that are connected to my former clients and CNET who I tried to sue ten years ago.

This is the billing for WE 05/07/11 remains unpaid along with most of May and June.

PG&E says they have a code of conduct for their vendors and consultants.  I have one comment - pay me as I cannot get the Contra Costa Bar Association to refer one attorney out of 1600 which in many ways would be obstruction of justice, unfair trade but more important by blantantly deflecting a litigants access to representation could be construed as violation of Interference with Commerce as defined in the following USC Code.

18 USC § 1951 - Interference with commerce by threats or violence

Threats of Violence are as follows:

June 2006 - Beating of Attorney Sage Sepahi Walden Park Walnut Creek CA

June 15th 2012 - Knowingly deflecting investigation of attempted hit and run on June 15th 2012 that said agency known as the Walnut Creek Police Department deliberately and intentionally failing to investigate attempted hit and run by Hillside Covenant Church member and youth director who was took my sons on July 7th 2011 that occurred for my first arrest for PC 270 (charges dismissed -investigation focused changed) and that was the last time I saw my sons and in fact that was the last time I've seen either son and three weeks later my car is totaled in Lafayette.  Filing police reports is a futile experience but feel free to read the Letters to Lafayette Police that were sent starting in 2011 but trust me the Lafayette City Council is fully informed on events.

I'm fucking homeless living on the street in Walnut Creek CA and someone tries to run me over at 500 S Broadway Walnut Creek and it's not good enough and he's friends with others that ran me off the road on July 20th 2011 - do you really believe one could make up so much bullshit?

The term “extortion” means the obtaining of property from another, with his consent, induced by wrongful use of actual or threatened force, violence, or fear, or under color of official right.

PG&E Offers $10,000 Reward In Walnut Creek Kidnapping And Robbery Case

Release Date: November 20, 2012
Contact: PG&E External Communications (415) 973-5930

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) today announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for kidnapping a PG&E contract employee in a parking lot as she left work on November 7 in the Walnut Creek Shadelands area.

On November 7, 2012 at approximately 7:30 p.m., a 57 year old female was abducted as she was leaving work and walking to her vehicle in an isolated parking lot. As the victim unlocked her vehicle two suspects ran up to her, forced her into her vehicle, tied her up and blindfolded her. The victim was driven to various locations in an attempt to get money from her ATM accounts.

The victim was driven to an isolated area in the Oakland Hills where she was released. A vehicle with a loud muffler was heard leaving the area. The victim was able to free herself and called 911. Oakland PD responded and sought medical attention for the victim and obtained the initial information. The Walnut Creek Police Department was called to handle the primary investigation since the incident originated in Walnut Creek.

Suspect #1: Described as a white male adult, early to mid 20s, 5’11”, 185/190 lbs, broad shoulders, short dark hair, unknown facial hair. Last seen wearing light colored T shirt under a black zip up colored shirt, jeans, blue or black.

Suspect #2: Described as a white male adult, early to mid 20s, 5’9”, 150 lbs with a slight build. Last seen wearing a mask (form type to below the nose), black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark jeans.

Suspect Vehicle: Vehicle with a loud muffler.

The Walnut Creek Police Department is actively investigating this crime. Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to contact the Walnut Creek Police Department Investigations Unit at(925) 943-5868 or (925) 943-5844.

The photos below are of one of the kidnapping/robbery/carjacking suspects in this case. The photos are from a drive up bank ATM. The suspect in the photo went by the name "Aubrey" (see suspect #2 description below). The second suspect went by the name "David". It is important to stress we do not know if these are the suspect's actual names.

PEOPLE VS BENNETT, PETER CARVER Count 1, 2 and 3 DISMISSED

Update March 2018
All I wanted was to run my business, have fun with my family and sons.  Instead I kept getting beaten, burned, poisoned, arrested, jailed and run off the road.

My sons are gone, my cars taken, my license taken, my computers, systems, domains and health then they killed my relatives.  Why I still do not know but I am sure it has something to with 9/11, AT&T, FBI Agent Frank Doyle Jr.
